Coelogyne x granulosa

Coelogyne x granulosa is a natural hybrid between Coelogyne cristata and Coelogyne albolutea. It is a vigorous plant with sprays of long lasting flowers.

We grow plants among our Coelogyne cristatas in our Himalayan greenhouse (min 7C) where we replicate the conditions we have experienced in Coelogyne cristata habitat in Sikkim.

We maintain a minimum temperature of 7C in the winter and provide good light throughout the year (just lightly shaded in the summer). In the summer we water plants very heavily (watering them most days) to give a monsoon summer, and in the winter we reduce watering to more like once a week but never ley the bulbs shrivel.
