Pleurothallis nuda

Pleurothallis nuda is a small growing orchid with large and unusual flowers.

The species is native to Colombia and Ecuador where it grows in wet forests from 500 to 2100m and so is tolerant of a range of temperatures. We grow plants in our Cloud Forest Greenhouse (min 12C) and indoors on a shady windowsil. The species would also do well in a terrarium.

We keep plants well watered throughout the year.
