Drayadella pusiola

Dryadellas are a lovely genus of mini-miniatures from South America and we have been fortunate to see Dryadella species in our visits to Brazil.

Dryadella pusiola is native to the cool mountains of Colombia and Ecuador where it is reported from 2000 to 2600m. The species is a real miniature with leaves up to 3cm long and relatively large crystaline white flowers.

We grow the species mounted in our cloud forest greenhouse (min 12C) and keep plants well watered throughout the year.
